| I am now in my fifties,
married with two sons, two dogs and a cat; based and practicing in Storrington on the beautiful South Downs in West Sussex. One of the advantages of middle-age is the experience of
life that goes with it. This fact helps make me sympathetic to the needs
of my clients; especially as a past sufferer of several of the conditions
that I now treat.
I have always marvelled at the power of the brain and how it can
be harnessed to produce spectacular results. After a spell in Retailing, I decided to switch to a career where my personal qualities would be most suited. I came
upon Cognitive Hypnotherapy and the more I found
out about it, the more I became 'entranced' by what it has to offer.
I was careful in my selection of training institute. Some offer
qualifications based on minimal learning and practice. The Quest
Institute convinced me that its training was second to none.
This is in large part due to my mentor, Trevor
Silvester, who was inspirational throughout my training and
now in the support given thereafter.
I have a Diploma in Cognitive Hypnotherapy (Dip.C.Hyp) from The
Quest
Institute. I am a member of the National
Council for Hypnotherapy (MNCH Reg)and UKCHO ,(UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations; the only body that applies
a national standard of training in the U.K. and have a Hypnotherapy
Practitioners Diploma (HPD) issued by it. In addition, I am a qualified
Neuro-Linguistic Programming Master Practitioner (NLP MasterPrac).
In my spare time, I am an Honorary Member of Storrington & District Round Table, and Ecademy, I can often be seen in the Chanctonbury Leisure Centre, or walking the dogs on the South Downs.
